i purchased a lexar($35) mp3 player, it uses an(1 Gb $40)SD card for storage. i have to state with only $75 invested this unit has great sound, displays the song titles and to the best of my knowledge does everything an "IPOD" does for less than half the price. With the SD card storage medium it provides some flexability as we own several devices (digital camera, digital camcorder) that use the same type of card. My advice is give this type of set up consideration before shelling the big bucks for an "IPOD".
