PBSUCCESS / BAY OF PIGS / CHILE 1970

To further the consideration of the 911 tragedy being tied into our government look into the:
PBSUCCESS--Operation PBSUCCESS was a CIA-organized covert operation that overthrew the democratically-elected President of Guatemala, Jacobo Arbenz Guzmán in 1954

BAY OF PIGS--This once-secret CIA plan, "A Program of Covert Action Against the Castro Regime," details the measures President Eisenhower authorized in March, 1960, to undermine the Revolutionary government. The plan calls for the creation of exile political and paramilitary groups and anti-Castro radio broadcasts. Just over a year later, in April, 1961, the plan culminated in the Kennedy administration's worst foreign policy disaster, the Bay of Pigs invasion.

CHILE 70's--Controversy surrounds alleged CIA involvement in the coup. As early as the Church Committee Report (1975), publicly available documents have indicated that the CIA attempted to prevent Allende from taking office after he was elected in 1970; the CIA itself released documents in 2000 acknowledging this and that Pinochet was one of their favored alternatives to take power. Still, they deny having taken any active role in the events in Chile after Allende took office. This matter is discussed more extensively in the article "U.S. intervention in Chile".


The three events mentioned above were covert and some included destruction of US property and citizens with the blame of the destruction being placed on the countries we were intent on overthrowing as a ruse/reason to overthrow said country. Some of the incidents were also tied into big business (United Fruit Company for one)and may have had war as the ulterior motive. If you research these subjects further you might find some similarities between them and possible covert reasons for 911.
