Vacuum Tube Radio

Vacuum Tube Radio Circa 1930

All American Five Tube Radio Circa 1930
This type of tube radio was called the “All American Five” because the design represented most of the radios manufactured for home use in the USA and Canada in the tube era (it uses 5 vacuum tubes). They were millions of these valve tube radios manufactured by hundreds of manufacturers from the 1930s forward. This particular set was manufactured by a company starting with T (it is the only letter that is still legible on the front), it powers up and receives stations. It is in good age specific condition, the back cover is missing, it is sold as a collectible and sold as is. The cabinet measures 7 x 12 x 8 inches approximately.
